Position Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Your Role on the Team:

The Technical Services and Customer Relations Manager is responsible for the installation and service department and for coordinating activities between production, delivery, and on-site installation with contractors. The role also includes overseeing customer service and communicating with all departments to ensure the smooth operation of company activities.

Key Challenges and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients by phone or in person, analyze and understand their needs.
  • Efficiently coordinate service calls (work orders, billing).
  • Monitor staff workload and travel schedules.
  • Manage projects.
  • Prepare repair estimates and quotations.
  • Work closely with sales representatives, clients, the manufacturing department, and installers.
  • Plan installation schedules following approval of shop drawings by the general contractor.
  • Maintain constant communication with the general contractor.
  • Manage change orders, additions, and necessary modifications according to site instructions.
  • Update all work orders and follow up with clients.
  • Compile billing information (hours worked, reports, photos) and ensure timely invoicing.

Skills and qualifications :

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Mechanical knowledge (metal structures, electrical, hydraulic systems) – an asset
  • Experience in the construction industry – an asset
