Job description :
Are you passionate about talent acquisition and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth of an organization?
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our talent attraction, recruitment, and onboarding initiatives.
In a high-growth environment, you will have the opportunity to build and continuously improve a high-performing, distinctive, measurable, and innovative talent acquisition function. Your role will extend beyond hiring: you will also contribute to the new employee experience and help strengthen retention throughout their first years with the organization.
Responsible for approximately 15 to 25 hires per year, you will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and play a key role in our ability to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Your Role:
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs through to the successful hire.
- Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies and build strong talent pipelines for strategic and recurring positions.
- Identify and directly engage in high-calibre talent, including passive candidates.
- Develop structured selection methods to assess skills, potential, and alignment with the organization’s culture.
- Deliver a distinctive and professional candidate experience, from initial contact through to hire.
Employer Brand & Talent Attraction:
- Develop and strengthen a distinctive and compelling employer brand.
- Increase the organization’s visibility among targeted talent pools.
- Develop initiatives involving content, social media, events, partnerships, and employee referrals.
- Identify new and creative ways to reach top talent and differentiate the organization in the employment market.
- Help position the organization as an employer of choice within its priority talent markets.
Onboarding & Retention:
- Design and lead a structured onboarding experience that supports the successful integration of new employees.
- Conduct follow-ups at key milestones throughout employees first 24 months with the organization.
- Measure the new employee experience and proactively identify factors that may impact engagement or retention.
- Partner with managers to identify onboarding challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Recommend initiatives to continuously improve the employee experience, engagement, and talent retention.
Technology, Automation & Data:
- Optimize recruitment and onboarding processes to make them simple, efficient, and scalable.
- Leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and HR technologies to reduce administrative tasks and maximize time spent engaging with candidates and employees.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
- Use data and insights to identify trends and continuously improve talent acquisition practices.
Why Join the Team?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a strategic talent acquisition mandate with significant autonomy and the ability to make a real impact.
You will have the opportunity to build strategies, implement new tools, automate processes, and directly contribute to the organization’s growth.
If you are as passionate about finding great talent as you are about creating an experience that makes people want to stay, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Skills and qualifications :
- Significant experience in talent acquisition, ideally within an environment where recruiting specialized talent is a strategic priority.
- Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment and direct sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and acts as a strategic talent partner.
- Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills, particularly when approaching passive candidates.
- Strong interest in employer branding, candidate experience, and talent retention.
- Comfortable leveraging technology, digital tools, and AI within the recruitment process.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in recruitment metrics and performance indicators.
