Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development? A well-established manufacturing organization in the Trois-Rivières region is seeking a Production Director to lead its operations and contribute to its continued growth and success.

Your Role

Ensure the overall performance of production operations by leading teams, optimizing processes, and actively contributing to the organization’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee all production activities to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability objectives;
• Lead, coach, and develop production management and operations teams;
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, KPIs, process optimization, 5S, etc.);
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality requirements, and production plans;
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Finance teams to optimize operational performance;
• Contribute to strategic decisions and growth initiatives across the organization.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field;
• MBA or other graduate-level degree considered an asset;
• 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations management;
• Previous experience in a Production Director or similar leadership role;
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and performance management tools;
• Experience with food industry standards (HACCP, FSSC 22000) is considered an asset;
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage, develop, and empower teams;
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making abilities;
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
