Job description :

Are you recognized for transforming operations, engaging teams, and delivering measurable results?

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic leader ready to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth within a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the President / General Manager and serving on the executive leadership team, you will assume full accountability for overall operational performance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Internal and external production performance
  • Cost optimization and productivity improvement
  • Product quality, regulatory compliance, and food safety
  • On-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Team leadership, development, and accountability

Your mandate: align strategy, execution, and a culture of high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the manufacturing strategy
  • Lead KPI management and budget oversight
  • Implement structured continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Optimize processes, equipment, and production flow
  • Oversee planning, procurement, and maintenance functions
  • Support new product introductions
  • Drive operational transformation and technological modernization
  • Foster a culture focused on accountability and measurable results

Quality, Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and industry standards (HACCP, GFSI, Organic, etc.) while maintaining a safe and high-performing work environment.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Minimum 6 years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Food industry background (strong asset)
  • Strong operational expertise across production, maintenance, logistics, and procurement
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement implementation
  • ERP/MES proficiency and solid budget management experience
  • Inspiring leadership and strong decision-making capability
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline
  • Bilingual (French / English)
