Job description :
We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Representative to manage and develop a territory in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of products to healthcare professionals, building strong business relationships, and contributing to the achievement of sales and territory performance objectives. This is a field-based role requiring autonomy, initiative, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to influence and build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals within the territory.
- Conduct regular visits with physicians, pharmacists, clinics, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, the competitive landscape, and the market.
- Effectively manage the territory to achieve or exceed sales and activity targets.
- Analyze territory data to identify growth opportunities and optimize commercial strategies.
- Plan and coordinate various promotional activities and programs with healthcare professionals.
- Document sales activities and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrate creativity and initiative in identifying solutions and maximizing territory performance.
Skills and qualifications :
- University degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally working with primary care healthcare professionals.
- Proven experience in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain a professional network.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a territory independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
