Job description :

We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Representative to manage and develop a territory in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of products to healthcare professionals, building strong business relationships, and contributing to the achievement of sales and territory performance objectives. This is a field-based role requiring autonomy, initiative, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to influence and build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals within the territory.
  • Conduct regular visits with physicians, pharmacists, clinics, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, the competitive landscape, and the market.
  • Effectively manage the territory to achieve or exceed sales and activity targets.
  • Analyze territory data to identify growth opportunities and optimize commercial strategies.
  • Plan and coordinate various promotional activities and programs with healthcare professionals.
  • Document sales activities and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative in identifying solutions and maximizing territory performance.

Skills and qualifications :

  • University degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally working with primary care healthcare professionals.
  • Proven experience in business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain a professional network.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a territory independently.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
