Company Description :

Our client, a manufacturing company in the food industry, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A) who will play a key role in supporting management decision-making. The selected candidate will develop accurate budgets and forecasts, conduct in-depth financial and operational performance analyses, and proactively identify risks and opportunities that may impact results. By enhancing management tools and optimizing internal processes, this individual will directly contribute to the organization’s financial strength and long-term growth.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Review financial statements, identify key trends and significant variances, interpret results, and produce detailed analytical reports (costing, pricing, efficiency, labor), while highlighting risks and opportunities to support leadership in monitoring strategic priorities.
  • Support and advise managers in their decision-making by providing relevant financial analyses, improved dashboards, and assessments of risks and opportunities, while actively contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Develop financial forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and integrating all relevant data and assumptions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information and contribute to the continuous improvement of business unit reporting tools and processes.

Skills and qualifications :

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional designation: CPA (an asset)
  • Experience: Between two (2) and six (6) years of relevant experience
  • Technical skills: ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite – advanced level
  • Spoken languages: French – advanced / English – functional
  • Written languages: French – advanced / English – functional
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and solid analytical abilities
