Your Role :

Reporting to the Director, the Estimator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the entire bidding process while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all estimates. Our client operates in the industrial mechanical sector, but we are looking for someone with strong general construction knowledge.

Main Responsibilities :

• Coordinate tender calls and follow up on bids
• Review plans, specifications and contractual requirements
• Prepare complete and accurate estimates
• Coordinate site visits
• Manage requests for pricing and subcontractor quotations
• Analyze and recommend submitted quotations
• Prepare tender forms and documentation
• Present estimates for final review and approval

Skills and qualifications :

Profile :

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to read construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in both French and English
• Team player with autonomy and a proactive mindset
• Knowledge of various sectors of the construction industry

Education and Experience :

• DEC in Construction Estimating or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience
• Excellent communication skills
