Job Summary :

As a Customer Service Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for customers. You will provide a fast, professional, and personalized service, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers at the counter in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Identify customer needs and provide advice on available products and technical solutions.
  • Prepare orders, handle returns, and issue delivery slips.
  • Communicate with internal teams (warehouse, purchasing, sales) to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Respond to inquiries by phone and email.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming counter area.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and inventory management.

Skills and qualifications :

Profile Sought :

  • Experience in customer service or counter sales (preferably in an industrial, mechanical, or technical environment).
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanics (an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and organized.
  • Comfortable using computer tools and systems.
  • Bilingual (French/English), depending on customer base.
