*Urban Planning Profile (No Permit Processing)

Do you want to play a key role in the harmonious development of a region? This strategic position is for a professional passionate about urban planning, development, and community enhancement.

Reporting to the director, you will serve as a leading authority on urban planning, actively contributing to the vision, planning, and evolution of the region.

YOUR ROLE :

• Lead and contribute to the development of urban planning policies, plans, and by-laws
• Analyze and guide land use and development projects
• Advise management, developers, and partners on urban planning issues
• Coordinate and facilitate the work of the Urban Planning Advisory Committee (CCU)
• Participate in initiatives related to the land use plan and territorial planning
• Ensure the consistency of urban planning guidelines and mobilize the team
• Represent the City in various strategic matters and collaborate on cross-functional projects

Skills and qualifications :

• University degree in urban planning, land use planning, or a related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
• Significant experience in land use planning
• Member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec (an asset)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Motivational leadership and ability to work on
