Job description :
Our client is looking for a Technical Representative for its CASE division in the province of Quebec.
Our client represents the world's leading value-added suppliers. Quebec is a strategic and fast growing region for our client and plays a key role in their continued growth. The objective is to continue the development of the CASE division (Coatings/Adhesives/Sealants/Elastomers).
Your primary responsibilities will be to maintain regular contact with corporate manufacturing customers/prospects and build relationships with R&D, purchasing and key decision makers. You will maintain relationships with suppliers and also target new suppliers who may use specialty products as theirs. Collaborating with customers, suppliers and the team, you will be responsible for growing, leading and implementing CASE solutions.
Skills and qualifications :
- The successful candidate must be fluent in French and English. The Technical Representative must be mobile to travel throughout the province as well as the United States to attend training and trade shows. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a desire to successfully grow the product and customer base. He/she will have technical experience in R&D or relevant experience in the CASE industry (Coatings/Adhesives/Sealants/Elastomers).
- Key requirements include a minimum of 3-5 years experience in CASE (Coatings/Adhesives/Sealants/Elastomers) sales, a degree in chemistry, science and a strong motivation to further develop knowledge and skills in this business area.
