Job description :

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company recognized for the quality of its products and operational excellence, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the entire supply chain function and support the organization's performance objectives.

Your Role

Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning of the supply chain, including purchasing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.

You will act as a key business partner to the Production, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure optimal service levels while maximizing efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Lead and oversee purchasing, planning, logistics, and inventory management teams.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and components required for production.
  • Optimize inventory levels and procurement costs.
  • Negotiate with strategic suppliers and build long-term partnerships.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the S&OP process and demand planning activities.
  • Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Coach, engage, and develop the teams under your leadership.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, planning, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
  • Results-oriented leader with excellent people management abilities.
  • Bilingual in French and English.

Assets

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
