In a context of continued growth, the firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its clients and actively contribute to the quality of professional services delivered.

Main responsibilities :

  • Review accounting records and prepare or review financial statements (Notice to Reader and Review Engagements)
  • Participate in audit engagements of financial statements or other related financial information
  • Perform critical analyses of financial statements and provide recommendations
  • Prepare various corporate tax returns
  • Advise clients on corporate and personal tax planning matters
  • Contribute to the quality control of deliverables issued to clients
  • Manage and ensure the proper follow-up of client files
  • Perform any other related duties associated with the role

Skills and qualifications :

  • CPA designation (required)
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Copilot
  • Excellent command of French and functional English
  • Experience with software such as Caseware and Taxprep
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs and municipalities
  • Autonomous in conducting audits
  • Strong team spirit, autonomy, and sense of accountability
