Job description :
This role focuses on building high-performance imaging interfaces used in time-sensitive clinical decision environments.
You will work on data-intensive, interaction-heavy applications where rendering efficiency, responsiveness, and architectural clarity are critical. This is not a marketing UI role — it is a product-core engineering position at the intersection of web performance, 3D visualization, and regulated software development.
You’ll collaborate directly with clinicians, product, and AI engineers in a small, senior team with strong ownership.
Key Responsabilities :
- Implement and deliver front-end functionality within a modern TypeScript-based architecture
- Work closely with GPU-accelerated visualization layers (WebGL/WebGPU integration)
- Architect scalable, reusable UI systems for complex, interaction-heavy environments
- Connect user-facing workflows with imaging engines and backend services
- Analyze and improve rendering efficiency, responsiveness, and memory footprint across large datasets
- Elevate engineering standards through reviews, testing strategies, CI practices, and documentation
- Contribute to structured development processes consistent with medical-grade software expectations
Compensation & Benefits :
- Base salary: $105,000 – $135,000
- Equity participation (ESOP)
- Remote-first model with flexible structure
- Small, senior, high-ownership team
- Direct product impact with clinical end users
- Post-seed stage, strong growth trajectory
Skills and qualifications :
Qualifications (Required) :
- 5+ years of experience building production-level web applications with TypeScript or modern JS frameworks
- Strong command of performance optimization, debugging, and sustainable UI design patterns
- Experience delivering refined user experiences in collaboration with product and design teams
- Comfortable working with automated testing and writing reliable, maintainable code
Preferred / Nice to Have :
- Background in complex interactive systems (visualization tools, editors, CAD-like apps, mapping, imaging, or data-intensive platforms)
- Understanding of medical imaging workflows (DICOM exposure is a plus)
- Experience with modern build systems or monorepo setups
- Familiarity with structured or regulated development frameworks
- Experience with React and/or Angular
- Exposure to cross-platform tooling (Electron, React Native, Capacitor, Tauri, etc.)
