Work location: Brossard, QC - Hybrid
Salary: $75,000 to $95,000
Position type: Permanent

In a context of continued growth, the firm is seeking to welcome a new team member to support its operations and contribute to the maintenance of high standards of quality and professional rigor.
Main responsibilities:
- Review financial statements and other assurance deliverables prior to issuance to ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Perform quality control reviews and internal inspections of completed files (audit, review, and compilation engagements).
- Contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of the firm’s tools, templates, and working methodologies.
- Act as a technical resource for assurance teams on matters related to ethics, independence, assurance standards, and accounting principles.
- Participate in the implementation of new professional standards and internal training initiatives.
- Develop, update, or enhance policies and procedures related to assurance engagements.
- Maintain ongoing professional knowledge and perform other related duties as required.

Skills and qualifications :
- CPA designation, Chartered Professional Accountant (Auditor).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in assurance (audit and review engagements), ideally in a firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards, CSRS 2400 (review engagements), and Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE).
- Ability to simplify and explain accounting and assurance standards.
- Excellent French and professional-level English.
- Autonomy, proactivity, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
