Job description :

We are seeking an automation engineer to lead projects focused on improving, modifying, and automating manufacturing equipment, including the implementation of new FANUC robotic systems. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing the performance, reliability, and safety of operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage automation and robotics projects, from design through commissioning.
• Participate in the integration, programming, and optimization of PLCs, HMIs, FANUC robots, and automated equipment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams, as well as suppliers.
• Analyze technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose sustainable solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical project documentation.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Member of the OIQ.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation or technical project management.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, FANUC robotics, and industrial networks.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Bilingualism in French and English required.
