Location: Longueuil

Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts

2 weeks of day shifts (1 week of 3 x 12-hour shifts + 1 week of 4 x 12-hour shifts)

2 weeks of night shifts (1 week of 3 x 12-hour shifts + 1 week of 4 x 12-hour shifts)

As part of our client's development, they are looking for a Plastic Extrusion Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate production teams, ensure industrial performance, and guarantee compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the extrusion lines.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead production teams working rotating shifts (day/night)
• Organize, plan, and optimize plastic extrusion operations
• Ensure compliance with production targets (quality, deadlines, costs)
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental rules
• Monitor performance indicators (OEE, scrap, yield, etc.)
• Identify and resolve technical and human problems
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and equipment
• Ensure communication between teams and support services (maintenance, quality, logistics)

Skills and qualifications :

Required profile:

• Vocational or college degree in a relevant field combined with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment or other combination of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn ERP-type systems
• Proven experience in plastic extrusion, ideally in team supervision
• Leadership, organizational skills, and decision-making
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts
• Proficiency with production tracking tools and performance indicators
