Our client is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of building materials. They are looking for a new IT Manager to structure IT operations within the organization.

YOUR ROLE :

Leadership and Project Management :

  • Provide 24/7/365 IT support and ensure operational continuity.
  • Train and support end users.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams and participate in planning meetings.
  • Research, evaluate, select, and purchase hardware and software solutions.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets related to projects and operations.
  • Present and implement solutions tailored to user needs.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to the IT team.

Infrastructure Support :

  • Provide advanced-level support for networks and telecommunications.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and domain controllers.
  • Manage access policies, infrastructure security, and system security patches.
  • Configure, manage, and restore backup systems.
  • Administer and maintain physical, virtual, and cloud servers (Azure / AWS).
  • Manage software licensing and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure-related issues.

Working conditions :

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday
  • Job location: On site, Quebec city (occasional work in remote)
  • Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 (depending on experience)

Skills and qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as an IT manager in a manufacturing environment, including supervision of technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
  • Advanced skills in budget management, resource planning and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of network infrastructures, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Ability to popularize complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Bilingual French/English
