Working hours: Monday to Friday - regular hours
Job location: On site, south shore (occasional work in remote)
Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 (depending on experience)
Position type: Executive - permanent contract
Our client is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of building materials. They are looking for a new IT Manager to structure IT operations within the organization.
Your role:
- Supervise, structure, coordinate and evaluate operations related to computer services and digital information processing within the organization.
- Define and apply guidelines, protocols and strategies associated with digital data management, computerized system design and operation.
- Manage and direct teams of IT professionals responsible for developing, deploying, operating and maintaining software, telecommunications infrastructures, computer networks and integrated systems.
- Interact with customers to identify their needs, discuss technical specifications, delivery times, budget and proposed technological solutions.
- Manage budgets allocated to IT projects and departments, while ensuring rigorous monitoring of expenses incurred.
- Ensure the recruitment, coaching and professional development of IT team members, including technicians, developers and external service providers, and oversee their ongoing training.
Skills and qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an IT manager in a manufacturing environment, including supervision of technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
- Advanced skills in budget management, resource planning and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Mastery of network infrastructures, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Ability to popularize complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Bilingual French/English
