Job description :
Our client is a globally recognized leader in its industry, with operations in more than 100 countries worldwide. As a key member of the Finance team, the FP&A Finance Manager will play a central role in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting the company’s financial performance. Working closely with the Finance Director, he will provide strategic financial insights and serve as a key liaison between the Finance function and various business units.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate, consolidate, and analyze financial data to support management reviews and ensure alignment of results across the division.
- Prepare and present in-depth financial analysis to the Finance Leadership Team, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assume full ownership of the division’s P&L, monitoring performance against targets, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- Evaluate key drivers of gross margin performance and inventory valuation to optimize profitability.
- Lead activities related to the financial reporting process, including coordinating month-end close activities and preparing high-quality presentations and analyses for senior leadership.
- Analyze net sales and profitability to ensure investments are aligned with divisional strategies and business objectives.
- Provide direct leadership to a Financial Analyst, including supervision, coaching, mentoring, and professional development.

Skills and qualifications :
- 5–10 years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- CPA designation considered a strong asset
- Bilingual in French and English
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Strong business acumen, agility, and the ability to influence stakeholders
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships and effectively translate complex financial concepts into actionable business insights
