Our client is a well-established organization operating across diverse sectors, including the automotive and real estate industries. The company fosters a culture of rigor, collaboration, and professional growth. It is currently seeking a strategic Financial Controller to support financial decision-making and contribute to the growth of its real estate division.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements;
- Supervise the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and performance reports;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies;
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure the accuracy of financial data;
- Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial information;
- Implement and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets;
- Collaborate closely with property management, operations, and executive teams to provide financial insights supporting decision-making and business growth.
Terms and Benefits :
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Location: Montreal, QC – On-site
- Competitive salary based on experience ($75,000 – $95,000);
- Eligible for an annual bonus;

Skills and qualifications :
Required Technical Skills :
- Proficiency with accounting or property management software for financial operations (HOPEM, Yardi);
- Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial analysis;
- Solid understanding of budgeting methods and financial forecasting techniques;
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable management;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Strong oral and written communication skills promoting effective collaboration across teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred);
- Excellent command of English (French will be used very minimally);
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the real estate sector (preferred).
