Work location: Laval, QC – Hybrid

Salary: $110,000 to $120,000

Position type: Permanent

Our client, a well-established international pharmaceutical company operating in Canada, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team. As a true business partner, this individual will play a key role in tax management, financial analysis, and strategic planning, while collaborating closely with various teams across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax returns, including R&D tax credits, and manage tax obligations and relationships with tax authorities
  • Prepare analyses and reports related to transfer pricing
  • Record, calculate, and monitor income tax expenses, including deferred tax assets and liabilities
  • Participate in statutory, internal, and tax audits
  • Contribute to the implementation of internal controls and compliance with financial procedures
  • Provide financial analyses and recommendations on business plans, objectives, and key performance drivers
  • Participate in budget preparation and assess financial performance against operational objectives and forecasts
  • Prepare cash flow projections and ensure compliance of financial closings in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Participate in discussions with business partners and contribute to the review of contractual agreements

Skills and qualifications :

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • More than 7 years of experience in finance or accounting (pharmaceutical industry experience an asset)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite; SAP (an asset)
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and thrive in a constantly evolving environment
  • Agility, rigor, and excellent collaborative skills
  • Advanced French, Advanced English (spoken and written)
