Job description :

A manufacturing company located on Montreal's South Shore is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this person will be responsible for the electrical technical aspects of various projects.

More specifically, his/her responsibilities will include :

• Manage and analyze electrical projects.
• Design, update, improve, standardize and sign electrical plans.
• Ensure, during product assembly, that the product functions correctly and in compliance with established electrical standards.
• Designs and implements new work methods to improve the manufacturing process.
• Manages certification files for new and existing electrical components (UL, CSA).
• Takes charge of electrical safety inspections by third parties, as well as existing electrical CPIs under the supervision of his/her immediate supervisor.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering combined with 3 years' experience
• Member in good standing of the OIQ
