Reporting to the Vice President of Global Markets, the Director of Sales Activation and Performance (Aerospace) is a key player in the organization. He is responsible for all customer-facing sales and marketing activities, with the primary mission of ensuring customer satisfaction while driving billings and revenue growth.
He or she also oversees the company’s Training Center, manages a specialized operational support program, and administers fleet data for the North America region. In this capacity, he or she serves on the company’s management committee and plays a strategic role in its development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support & Sales Development.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major aircraft manufacturers (OEMs), including leading manufacturers in North America.
- Lead and supervise the sales support team (Customer Service Managers/Representatives).
- Manage warranty claims and ensure that necessary corrective actions are initiated in a timely manner.
- Grow billing, revenue, and business relationships with customers.
- Evaluate the profitability of deals, meet margin targets, and recommend justified commercial concessions.
- Serve as a marketing liaison and initiate promotional activities in the North American region.
- Participate in client meetings and ensure that client complaints are handled and resolved.
- Define and oversee billing and sales to operators in the region.
- As a representative of client interests, define client needs in collaboration with the company’s internal departments.
- Oversee the handling of complaints and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Manage and supervise the coordinator dedicated to this program in the Canada region.
- Ensure the smooth running of program-related activities and the achievement of set objectives.
Base salary: 165K–175K
Bonus: 20% + Full benefits package starting day 1
Skills and qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) (A Plus)
- Industry experience: 10 years in support and sales in the aerospace sector
- Business proposals: Experience in developing complex proposals and bids
- Team management: At least 5 years of experience managing staff
- Knowledge of products and their operational environment
- Availability to travel regularly within North America
- Influential leadership and the ability to motivate teams
- Strong managerial skills
- Technical and language skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP)
