Job description :

Our client, a well-established family-owned manufacturing company located in Quebec's Eastern Townships, is seeking a Corporate Controller to join its leadership team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for overseeing financial operations while supporting key initiatives related to human resources and information technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Oversee month-end and year-end processes
  • Manage cash flow and treasury activities
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Develop reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Coordinate annual audit preparation
  • Support investment and financial analysis projects
  • Improve financial processes and internal controls

Strategic Partnership:

  • Advise senior leadership on financial and business decisions
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives
  • Supervise a small accounting and administrative team
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational performance

Human Resources & Administration:

  • Support discussions regarding compensation and internal policies
  • Participate in organizational development initiatives
  • Foster a positive and engaged workplace environment

Information Technology:

  • Support technology planning and system improvements
  • Contribute to process optimization initiatives

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of $100,000 to $115,000

Skills and qualifications :

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA designation required

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar leadership role
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience supervising employees
