This is a highly hands-on role offering significant autonomy, a high level of responsibility, and numerous growth opportunities within a fast-paced, expanding business environment.
We are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their career: an accounting and finance professional with strong technical expertise, leadership potential, and the ambition to take ownership of a complete finance function within an entrepreneurial setting.
If you are seeking a role where you can have a direct impact on an organization’s performance and growth, this opportunity may be of interest to you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the organization's financial processes.
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for various entities, divisions, or business units.
- Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts and the annual budget, including variance analysis.
- Strengthen financial controls related to accounts payable, expenses, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and financial consolidation processes, as required.
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of inventory and related operations.
- Manage applicable tax, regulatory, and administrative obligations, as well as payroll processes.
- Coordinate annual audit engagements and manage relationships with external partners, including accounting firms and auditors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with financial institutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while establishing standards and best practices.
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of human resources and talent management processes.
Skills and qualifications :
- CPA designation or equivalent (or currently pursuing certification), combined with strong accounting and finance experience.
- Desire to grow within a role offering substantial autonomy and broad responsibility.
- Ability to lead and develop a team while implementing structured processes and best practices.
- High level of professional rigor in both financial analysis and business relationships.
- Experience managing financial close processes and preparing management reports.
- Knowledge of financial consolidations, intercompany transactions, cash flow management, and budgeting processes.
- Experience coordinating audits and managing external service providers and partners.
- Strong ability to interact effectively with financial institutions and other stakeholders.
- Experience working with an ERP system or integrated business management tools.
- Experience in a multi-entity or international environment is considered an asset.
- Interest in contributing to organizational process improvements and team development.
- Excellent communication skills, strong prioritization abilities, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
