As a growing manufacturing company, our client has built their business on an entrepreneurial vision to offer innovative and modern products. This company has distinguished itself by developing fresh, frozen and cooked products for the retail and foodservice markets across North America.


Reporting to the President, you will ensure a key role within the management and be the backbone of the Human Resources team. The company has over 500 non-union employees as part of its team. Supported by your team of 4 people, you will maintain and develop HR policies and programs related to the company's objectives.


In addition to the day-to-day management of the department, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:


  • Maintain and develop HR policies.
  • Develop, organize and manage the HR program and tools.
  • Set up compensation management - Payroll and Benefits.
  • Manage health and safety records.
  • Establish and implement - in collaboration with the directors of the various departments of the company - policies, standards and procedures for human resources management for the entire company.
  • Manage the human resources of his department (hiring of staff, training, performance evaluation, conflict management, maintenance of employee files, equity, etc.).
  • Support the annual performance review process.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or any related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resources management position.
  • Experience in manufacturing, agribusiness or any field approaching.
  • Be comfortable in a constantly changing environment where priority management is paramount.
  • Great ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Bilingualism (French / English) mandatory
