Want to play a key role in managing our water resources? Join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of drinking water and wastewater treatment.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the proper operation of drinking water production and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards in effect in Quebec.
- Perform laboratory analyses, adjust operating parameters, and optimize processes.
- Plan and supervise preventive maintenance of equipment and participate in planned shutdowns.
- Monitor measuring instruments to track water flow and consumption.
- Manage the supply of chemicals and ensure that the required reports are kept.
- Perform sampling, coordinate shipments to external laboratories, and organize sludge disposal in collaboration with transporters.
Skills and qualifications :
- Certificates of qualification in wastewater treatment (mechanized plant) and complete surface or groundwater treatment.
- Solid knowledge of environmental standards and regulations.
- Analytical and planning skills and good priority management.
- Resourcefulness, rigor, and a methodical approach.
- Functional English (spoken and written).
