Job description :

We are currently seeking for a Site Engineer with solid experience in construction management and project coordination to join a company operating in the industrial construction sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities on site. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining compliance with schedules, budgets, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities on site.
• Oversee the execution of construction work to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site construction teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and overall construction progress.
• Participate in the development and review of construction methods, procedures, and work sequences.
• Review technical drawings and specifications, identify potential issues, and recommend practical solutions.
• Act as a liaison between engineering teams, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in site meetings and ensure proper follow-up on action items and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and additional work requirements.
• Participate in site inspections, technical assessments, and project closeout activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the optimization of construction processes.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering.

• Experience in industrial construction or large-scale construction projects is considered a strong asset.
• Good understanding of project cost control, scheduling, and contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable construction regulations and occupational health and safety standards.
• Proficiency with project management and construction site monitoring software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate various stakeholders on construction sites.
