Job description :

Railway company in business for over 60 years. It specializes in the repair, conversion and reconditioning of rolling stock (railcars and locomotives of all kinds). Their mission has become more specific over the years.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate the work of the mechanical engineering team (engineers, technicians and draftsmen)
• Support production (define parts and work methods)
• Improve manufacturing processes (create work templates. Research new work tools.
• Testing and prototyping (trials of new components).
• Support procurement department
• Improvement of work methods

Skills and qualifications :

• 5-10 years' experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• Experience in project management
• Relevant railway experience an asset
