Job description :

We are looking for a bilingual sales representative for our leading partner in the distribution of building materials.

Position summary:

This position involves working under the direction of a Sales Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers in the Outaouais region. The successful candidate will be responsible for following projects from a bid to contract, including negotiating and finalizing agreements.

Main responsibilities :

• Collaborate with various professionals in the construction industry to promote a range of products and services.
• Identify and approach new prospects.
• Understand and respond to customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions.
• Manage contractual aspects, including credit terms, warranties and deliveries.
• Maintain effective communication with post-sale customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any problems.

Skills and qualifications :

• 3 years' experience in construction sales
• Possession of a vehicle with a valid driver's license
• Fluency in French and English
• Ability to interpret and read construction plans
• Negotiation skills, strong communication and teamwork skills
• Autonomy, results orientation and ability to manage priorities effectively
