Job description :
Under the supervision of the General Director, the Sales Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring commercial strategies that support our client's growth.
A leader both strategically and in the field, he or she acts as a driving force behind the sales team's performance, ensuring that daily actions are aligned with overall business objectives. The position requires an excellent : understanding of market dynamics in Quebec, Ontario, and the United States, as well as the ability to adapt approaches to regional realities.
Main responsibilities:
Sales planning and strategy :
- Work with management to develop annual sales plans, including objectives, budgets, and forecasts.
- Define and adjust sales strategies according to the specific characteristics of each market (Quebec, Ontario, United States).
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competition to guide strategic decisions.
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and corporate priorities.
- Identify growth opportunities in new segments or territories.
- Represent the company at strategic client meetings and industry events.
Leadership and team support :
- Be present in the field to support representatives in their sales efforts and client meetings.
- Provide regular coaching, constructive feedback, and personalized support.
- Mobilize the team around common goals, promote interregional collaboration, and encourage accountability.
- Ensure that each member has the tools, training, and resources necessary to achieve their targets.
- Actively participate in team recruitment, integration, and evaluation.
Cross-departmental collaboration :
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion.
- Collaborate with Technical teams to ensure a smooth transition between the sales promise and delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and consistency of customer messaging.
Monitoring and performance :
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Promote rigorous use of CRM to ensure data quality and opportunity tracking.
- Produce periodic sales reports and present results to senior management.

Required profile :
- University degree in administration, management, marketing, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in B2B sales management, ideally in the technology, software, or engineering sectors.
- Proven experience in field support and multi-site team management.
- In-depth understanding of the differences between the Quebec, Ontario, and US markets.
- Bilingualism in French/English essential, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, ZoomInfo, and the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Excel, etc.).
