Job description :

The quality control assistant technician collaborates with the quality control technician in the verification of the application of the programs that are part of the organization's health and quality system. He verifys production areas, equipment, raw materials and their reception and finished products to document and provide information to the quality control technician. He ensures compliance with raw material specifications by running laboratory tests.

He also performs various tests and analyses, both in the plant and in the laboratory, in addition to compiling the results. In addition, he ensures compliance with good industrial practices as well as the quality of the finished products.

RESPONSABILITIES :

• Know and always comply with applicable quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Document inspections and deficiencies.
• Conduct sampling for microbiological analysis of products and sampling for environmental controls.
• Perform water testing (chlorine concentration).
• Perform surface testing (ATP, allergen).
• Perform the required tests and according to the results, give production authorization to start the production lines in the morning.
• Performs the required tests and according to the results, gives the authorization or not to do the reception.
• Communicates the test results to the raw material quality control technician and/or the laboratory supervisor in the event of out-of-specification results.
• Holds raw materials that do not meet specifications.
• Communicate to production/quality control technician and or laboratory supervisor any test results that are not within set standard.
• Perform various quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, finished products and recycling.
• Hold products that do not meet quality standards

Skills and qualifications :

• High School diploma, Sciences
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Bilingual
