Job description :

Quality Specialist assists the Coordinators and the Quality and R&D Director in coordinating all daily activities of quality control or quality assurance.

RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Know and respect at all times the quality standards and food security, health and safety regulations at work and company policies
  • Manage complaints to suppliers / customers and implement procedures and action plans to correct, prevent and avoid the recurrence of problems
  • Document and implement document management process for the company
  • Document, review and improve programs and food quality & safety plans and ensure their effectiveness
  • Document and implement the procedure for approving suppliers
  • Coordinate internal audits and monitor related corrective action requests or non-compliances within the prescribed deadline and issue an action plan to prevent recurrence
  • Support external audits and monitor related corrective action requests or non-compliances within the prescribed deadline and issue an action plan to prevent recurrence
  • Reassess, validate, verify and update the various quality documents and procedures, HACCP and SQF and other certifications (including organic, kosher and natural health products)
  • Superviser les activités de gestion parasitaire et en faire le suivi
  • Make the levies provided according to the environmental monitoring program (finished products, raw materials, water, surfaces, etc. ), organizing the shipment of samples and analyze the results to verify compliance by program
  • In case of non-compliance or unsatisfactory situations, to risk analysis ( safety and quality ), make the necessary actions to correct the situation and document according to requirements
  • Treat retained the system, identify the actions to take (if necessary, use statistical method type AQL ), inspect the product complete restraint and associated documentation

Skills and qualifications :

  • College degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing and/or 3years experience
  • Be Bilingual
