Job description :

Coordinate all daily quality control activities.

Responsibilities :

• Carry out required tests and, depending on the results, authorize production to start up production lines
• Carry out various quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, finished products and recycling
• Communicate test results and give instructions to production to adjust quantities of certain materials added during processing (sugar, vitamin C, sulfites)
• Draw up certificates of analysis for batches of finished products
• Detain products that do not comply with quality standards
• Participate in various continuous improvement projects
• Take samples in accordance with the environmental control program (finished products, raw materials, water, surfaces, etc.), organize the dispatch of samples and analyze the results to verify compliance with the program.
• In the event of non-compliance or unsatisfactory situations, perform risk analysis (health and quality), take the necessary action to correct the situation and document as required
• Handle system detentions, identify actions to be taken (if necessary, use AQL-type statistical method), inspect product being held back and complete associated documentation
