Job description :

We are seeking a Project Manager for our Quebec-based manufacturing client specializing in the design, fabrication, and assembly of custom steel structures and components. (Office in Trois-Rivières with site visits required)

Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring profitability, budget and schedule compliance, as well as adherence of deliverables to contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and structure projects (schedules, deliverables, risks, opportunities)
• Monitor budgets and analyze variances
• Coordinate all project activities to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Manage changes, extras, and contractual aspects
• Prepare project schedules in collaboration with site and engineering teams
• Ensure communication and follow-up with all stakeholders
• Lead project meetings (kick-off, coordination, post-mortem)
• Ensure compliance and proper project documentation management

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Construction, or Industrial Engineering
• 5 to 10 years of experience in project management or a related field
• ASP Construction card
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans
• Functional English (to communicate with English-speaking clients)
• Autonomy, rigor, strong organizational skills, and team spirit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
