Main Role :
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Production Manager oversees all manufacturing and assembly activities within the plant. This person ensures operational efficiency, product quality, safety compliance, and adherence to schedules while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate the production team to meet operational goals.
- Implement and optimize Lean manufacturing methods.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams for new product introductions.
- Identify cost-reduction and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and follow up on results.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Recruit, train, and support team members in their professional growth.
Skills and qualifications :
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing production environment.
- Knowledge of Lean principles; experience in electronics manufacturing is an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
