If you're methodical, organized and have good analytical skills, then the job of Planning Manager in our organization is for you!  Our client is an electromechanical contract manufacturer specializing in serving disruptive industries building tomorrow’s most advanced technologies.

• Reporting to the General Manager, you will execute and model daily planning sessions proactively, thoroughly and on time.
• Primarily, this professional organizes and oversees the production start-up to ensure deadlines are met and objectives achieved.   You have a global vision of the production chain, and your role is to ensure a fluid link between the various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • After studying the profiles on the products ordered by the customer, the planning manager assesses the procedures to be implemented for manufacturing.
  • The other part of your mission is focused on constantly improving production planning, organization and methods in line with the business needs.  
  • The motivation to continuously search for more efficient ways to optimize the production process is an innate part of you.
• The tasks of the Planning Manager require a high degree of rigor and solid organizational skills, complemented by the responsiveness and adaptability are essential to effectively manage the continuous evolution of requirements.

  • You are extremely comfortable with the numbers and the computerized planning tools at your disposal.  You don't shy away from making decisions, and you know how to show initiative.  
  • You also have good interpersonal and communication skills, in all contexts.
• The Planning Manager within our organization will have very solid technical knowledge, to which must be added managerial skills.  The candidate's strength will therefore lie in his or her versatility.
• Occupying a strategic position within the company, the Planning Manager's tasks are extremely varied, putting him or her in contact with a wide variety of people.  You'll be drafting production reports and operational capacity reports for management, which may include recommendations for optimizing the production process.

Skills and qualifications :

• Degrees and certifications obtained following training with a specialization in production management or scheduling is an asset of planning manager.
• A few years of experience in a similar position (required)
