Job description :
Our client, a leading optical company in Québec with a large network of branches across various cities, is currently seeking an optician for its Mont-Laurier location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Promote a quality-driven sales approach and actively encourage sales growth.
- Train and motivate a high-performing team; regularly evaluate employee performance and support their professional development.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, build strong client relationships, resolve issues, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Act as a representative of the company, developing and maintaining business relationships with customers, partners, and the local community.
- Contribute to administrative management, including billing, client file management, and submission of insurance claims.
Skills and qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an optician in Québec or Europe
- Must be a member of the Ordre des opticiens d’ordonnances du Québec (Quebec Order of Dispensing Opticians)
