Job description :

Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company in Canada with a strong presence across multiple market segments. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Director to join their leadership team. Specifically seeking managers with 5 to 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership, with direct experience in biosimilars and/or biologics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all national sales, business development, and brand growth initiatives across Canada.
  • Oversee regional and national profit and loss (P&L) performance.
  • Design and implement sales compensation plans, training programs, sales tools, and performance incentive structures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners, healthcare professionals, and corporate clients.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop and execute integrated promotional and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts and implement a national strategy for Specialty Pharmacy engagement.
  • Drive the launch and organizational development of a biosimilars business unit.
  • Optimize leadership tools including client tracking systems and cost monitoring platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Must be based in Quebec or Ontario.
  • Proven success in a competitive sales environment is a strong asset.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership, with direct experiences to biosimilars and/or biologics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Fully bilingual (French/English)
