Job description :

The Industrialization Department Manager manages strategic projects linked to the optimization of manufacturing processes, automation and continuous improvement according to Lean principles. He/she supervises a multidisciplinary team and provides support to operations in order to achieve performance, quality and cost objectives. He supervises continuous improvement methods and projects.

Main responsibilities  :

• Planning & coordination: Organize industrialization activities (methods, tooling, automation) while ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and quality, and maintaining the department's productivity and efficiency.
• Project management: Lead the deployment of new products/processes, participate in technical choices and validate industrial solutions.
• Supervision: Manage the team (technicians, assemblers, & engineers), ensure their skills development and promote a collaborative culture.
• Continuous improvement: Identify optimization opportunities, deploy Lean solutions and pilot sustainable corrective actions.
• Performance monitoring: Set up KPIs, monitor results, define necessary investments and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Automation: Develop innovative solutions to robotize repetitive tasks, improve productivity and reduce the risk of injury.

Skills and qualifications :

• Minimum 8 to 10 years' experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Project management experience
• Experience in personnel management
