Job description :

Our client, a rapidly expanding construction company specializing in commercial construction, electrical work in all sectors, and excavation, is seeking a general manager for its division that combines electrical and commercial construction. The general manager is responsible for the strategic, operational, and administrative management of the company. He or she oversees the overall performance, profitability, and sustainable growth of the organization. As a motivational leader, he or she rallies the team around common goals and promotes a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer service. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Define and implement the vision, strategic directions, and priorities established by the board of directors.
  • Mobilize, inspire, and support managers and employees in achieving corporate objectives.
  • Promote an organizational culture focused on respect, performance, occupational health and safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure staff development, motivation, and retention.
  • Oversee administrative, financial, and accounting operations.
  • Participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial forecasts, and performance indicators.
  • Ensure the profitability of projects and the company through sound cost and resource management.
  • Supervise the estimation, project management, and site teams to guarantee the quality, deadlines, and profitability of the work.
  • Optimize site planning, procurement, and monitoring processes.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Skills and qualifications :

  • University degree in administration, electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a management position in the construction or electrical industry.
  • Excellent understanding of construction site operations, project management, and construction regulations.
  • Motivational leadership, ability to rally teams around common goals.
  • Strong planning, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and representation skills.
