Job description :

Work location: Montérégie, QC – On site

Salary: $90,000 to $125,000

Position type: Permanent

Our client is a private company specializing in high-end nautical products. They offer maintenance, repair, rental, and sales services. The organization stands out for its friendly and stable team, as well as its sustained growth. The role will report directly to the President, and the successful candidate will play a key strategic and operational role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and financial statements
  • Evaluate service profitability and work order margins, prepare budgets and analyze variances, and develop a costing system
  • Manage inventory counts
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls
  • Structure and optimize financial processes
  • Oversee tax compliance (sales taxes, source deductions/payroll remittances, income taxes)
  • Manage audit files and act as the main contact for audits

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or related field)
  • CPA designation (strongly preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in a transactional environment (parts, services, equipment) or another relevant industry
  • Comfortable working with currency conversions (USD and CAD)
  • Excellent French and functional English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of autonomy
