Job description :
We’re hiring for our partner, a well-established Quebec-based manufacturer of custom metal lockers and architectural furnishings for public and private institutions across North America.
We’re looking for a Technical Estimator to analyze blueprints and specs, evaluate production costs, prepare accurate bids, and collaborate with internal teams and clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze plans & specs and identify equivalent or substitute products.
- Research and estimate costs (materials, labor, transport, risk factors).
- Prepare and submit detailed quotations via CRM.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and sales to define optimal solutions.
- Track public bids and contribute to competitive market intelligence.

Skills and qualifications :
- DEC in architecture, building sciences or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing estimation or cost analysis
- Familiarity with construction sector (Canada), BOM structuring, cost breakdowns
- Proficient in Excel, CRM, Autocad/PDF, bid portals (MERX, SÉAO, etc.)
- Bilingual (fluent in French and English, written & spoken)
