Job description :

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Continuous Improvement Manager develops strategies for the development of operational excellence at the production site.

Main responsibilities

•  Act as a mentor for the various team players called upon to pilot continuous improvement activities.
• Lead and collaborate in the implementation of various continuous improvement or performance enhancement projects.
• Communicate plant needs and issues, and promote local/corporate priorities
• Participate in the identification of cost improvements (CSI)
• Productivity improvement and loss reduction
• Cost savings project follow-up

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant training
• 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification a considerable asset
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (RCA, KAIZEN, others)
• Bilingualism in French and English
