Job description :

No fewer than four companies have joined forces over the years to become Quebec's largest distributor of residential doors, staircases, woodwork and hardware. 40 years of expertise and know-how. 3 sites across Quebec. The Commercial Project Manager covers the construction sector.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand specifications and construction plans, validating all relevant project information.
• Manage the project from A to Z, including documentation, participating in meetings, developing procurement strategies, meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Production start-up, customer support, quality control.
• Negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Act as an intermediary between sales, estimating, production, delivery and administration.
• Provide the necessary customer service throughout the project (before, during, and after sales).

Skills and qualifications :

• Mandatory 2 years experience as a buyer or project manager of steel doors/frames and architectural hardware
• DEC in project management or engineering an asset
• Knowledge of market practices and construction projects
