Job description :
Seeking an experienced Business Development / Technical Sales Representative to drive growth in the fields of high-performance building, prefabrication, and renewable or hybrid energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prospect and develop new markets and partnerships (architects, developers, contractors, distributors, etc.).
- Design technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from lead qualification and presentations to proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Integrate government incentives and rebate programs into client proposals.
- Provide training and post-sale support to clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
Skills and qualifications :
Skills & Experience :
- 5–10 years of experience in business development or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry in Québec (building codes and regulations).
- Background in one or more of the following areas:
- Building materials, HVAC, modular or prefabricated construction, light-gauge steel, renewable energy.
- Ability to read technical drawings and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Based near Montréal, with availability to travel as required.
