Work location: Chaudière-Appalaches Region, hybrid, 2 days on site

Position type: Permanent

Our client is a well-established regional accounting firm providing professional accounting and tax services to entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses. Main responsibilities:

  • Manage your own client portfolio, from engagement intake to delivery of final documents
  • Produce annual financial statements for corporations, sole proprietorships and partnerships
  • Complete corporate and personal tax returns while seeking the best strategies for each client
  • Act as a trusted advisor by suggesting optimization opportunities, including available funding and support programs
  • Keep your tax knowledge up to date and put it to work for your clients
  • Contribute to file quality and engagement billing
  • Work closely with the tax team on more specialized files

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA designation, a significant asset; candidates without the designation will also be considered
  • Public accounting firm experience, an asset
  • Advanced Excel, TaxPrep and Caseware
  • Functional English, an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, a teaching mindset and an advisory approach with clients
  • Thoroughness, autonomy and analytical thinking
  • Strong collaborative mindset and team spirit
