Job description :

Located on Montreal's South Shore in Longueuil, the company specializes in large-scale custom projects involving the design and manufacture of customized machines and robotic cells, with the aim of helping Quebec's manufacturing industry reach its full potential. Main responsibilities:

•  Be the technical department's reference for the mechanical engineering team (5-6 people).
• Standardize internal methods of conception, design, etc.
• Computerized mechanical design of equipment (3d) detail drawings (2d) assembly drawings, installation layouts.
• Advanced calculations of machine components.
• Manufacturing follow-up with subcontractors, assembly and testing follow-up.
• Support for start-ups, equipment testing, problem solving.

Skills and qualifications :

• Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical design of customized automated and robotized equipment
• Member of OIQ
• Knowledge of Solidworks software
