Job description :
We are looking for a bilingual inside sales representative for our leading partner in the distribution of building materials.
The role is to guide clients from showroom visit to product delivery and installation. It blends technical sales, quoting, customer service, prospecting, and coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients in the showroom and advise on suitable products
- Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, process orders and payments
- Occasionally visit job sites to confirm measurements
- Manage and grow a client portfolio in the Gatineau-Ottawa region
- Conduct cold calls and close short-cycle sales to meet targets
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounting teams
Skills and qualifications :
- 3+ years of sales experience in construction or renovation
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Able to read construction plans and understand technical specs
- Skilled in customer service, negotiation, and short-cycle sales
- Proficient with Windows, Outlook, and PDF tools
