Job description :

Our client, a well-known manufacturer for more than 35 years in his field of flooring, is looking for a Senior sales representative located in Alberta who will also cover the province of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

 

Under the direction of the Sales manager in Quebec, you will be responsible for generating profit and sales growth through the maintenance of existing customers and the development of potential customers.

 

Your role:   

  • Follow the strategies decided jointly with management in order to increase the company's market share in the given territory.
  • Achieving sales goals through the maintenance of existing customers and the development of potential customers within your territory.
  • Identify customer needs: specialty retailers, entrepreneurs, architects, designers.
  • Introduce the different product lines and make product specifications on various projects in partnership with flooring retailers.
  • Be able to sell and present products and solutions to large companies on major contracts and projects
  • Participate with the cooperation of the internal team in the bidding process.
  • Ensure follow-up, customer service and after sales customer service.
  • Make the required reports for analysis of the pipeline and field activities, but also to monitor the competition.
  • Participate in the various trade shows related to construction and our products to promote them.  

Skills and qualifications :

Your skills:

  • 10 years of experience as a sales representative in the construction industry.
  • 5 years at least in the field of flooring, ceramics, vinyl, carpet, wood etc.
  • Experience and expertise with specialist flooring retailers, contractors and architects.
  • Demonstrates a great concern for the customer and an approach based on integrity and honesty.
  • Autonomy (office at home) discipline, rigor and organization will make your success.
  • You are a results-oriented person who knows how to work as a team to succeed.

 

Our client offers you:

  • Base salary $70,000 -$75,000
  • A bonus plan (on maintaining customers, growing and opening new customers.)
